Yeast Infection
Symptoms
Symptoms for
yeast infections are not always visible, but some of
the visible symptoms can be described as itching and
burning. Normally a person with this infection will
experience a burning that will not go away. Your vagina or
penis may become extremely red from all the
itchiness. These symptoms are not serious, but very
uncomfortable. Your genitals will be irritated and cause
swelling.
Vaginal yeast infection
symptoms include a thick white discharge. It can
look like cottage cheese in most cases. Discharge can
often turn colors and start to have a distinctive fishy
odor. Look for increased white milky discharge. These
are all abnormal signs a person may experience if they have a
yeast infection.
Men experience soreness and redness from
itching the penis regularly. Yeast infections for men are
often identified as the penis having white spots on the head
including extreme red rash. Just continue to check for
symptoms.
Urinary tract infections and yeast
infections have very similar symptoms of one
another. Certain symptoms you maybe experiencing are not
symptoms of yeast infections. One of those symptoms is
having burning sensation with urination. This is an
irritation that is completely different from a yeast
infection. Other symptoms are having blood in urine,
constantly feeling the need to urinate, experiencing pain in
the lower abdomen and suffering from chills or fever.
Discharge is a very common symptom
of yeast infections. Your discharge may change in
color from white to yellow to green to brown and all the colors
in between. Clumpy white discharge and an increase in
discharge, that is not during your menstrual cycle or menstrual
period. Some people get more discharge during their
menstrual cycle which is normal and not to be confused with
abnormal discharge.
Odors are frequent symptoms for yeast
infections. You may experience a bread, beer or fish like
smell if you have a yeast infection. Check for these
symptoms regularly.
All these symptoms can be positively
diagnosed by a doctor. Please contact your doctor and get
treatment to kill the bacteria right away.
